"Each year gets bigger and better," said festival organizer George Cumbest of Vancleave. "BMI is coming down -- that's a big milestone for us. We hope to get them even more engaged next year."
Cumbest also said Mississippi Public Broadcasting will be in Ocean Springs this weekend to film a segment on the festival for an episode of their popular "Mississippi Roads" series.
Performers will be traveling from across the southeast, as well as Indiana and New Jersey, Cumbest said, and among those performers is Keith Sykes, who co-wrote the Jimmy Buffett classic "Volcano" and has been a member of Buffett's famed "Coral Reefer Band."
